distribution of our footwear collection in the Dutch market |
ROPAR, S.A. owner of the ARCOPEDICO® trade mark promoted last September a significant change in the distribution of our footwear collection in the Dutch market.
Following the continuous growth of ARCOPEDICO’s collection we felt necessary to increase the effort to promote it closer to retail and consumers having decided to structure distribution in the following way:
ADDITIONALS BV based in Amsterdam will keep running exclusively original knitted moccasin NEW SEC.
SCOPA VOF based in Amersfoort with permanent show room in C.A.S.T. Nieuwegein will be responsible for the distribution all of ARCOPEDICO® footwear brand with the exception of New Sec style which, as mentioned, shall be distributed by ADDITIONALS as in the past. |

ARCOPEDICO® earns BIOCALCE certification |
Portuguese Footwear Technologic Centre (CTCP) granted ROPAR, S.A. the BIOCALCE certification. This certificate assures that materials used in the production of L’ line styles don’t carry any risks for both consumer and environment.
Concerns with environment and foot health have over the years been increasing gradually, being more and more the number of persons that care and start looking for articles environmentally friendly.
Aiming to comply with market needs and considering the need to establish higher quality standards, CTCP developed a certification protocol for footwear products. The BIOCALCE label will assure the absence of materials harmful for consumer’s health and environment.
ROPAR, S.A. located in Canidelo, Vila do Conde, Portugal is a Portuguese company dedicated to the production of ergonomic footwear has invested in BIOCALCE certification, granting its own products a high quality label and consequently accomplishing an competitive advantage.
All footwear has been submitted to a battery of chemical, physical and other tests in the CTCP laboratory that has certified that all styles comply with BIOCALCE specifications. Tests approval authorizes the use of BIOCALCE label for non-harmful material of both consumers and environment.
